What a cool song, really like the feeling you've got going here! 4 stars mainly because the transitions make the song seem choppy to me, I'd consider fading in/out a bit more instead of cutting off the tracks instantly if that makes sense? All the parts coming in at once at 0:15 and dropping at 1:20 were what I didn't like, but that's just opinion really. Constructive criticism aside, this is really well mixed! (at least for my speakers lol) Especially with the chimes, this has a super dope relaxing vibe, chill af. Keep it up!

Sorry for the late respons, and thanks for the review

This is super awesome really cool sound you've got, well done! :) Absolutely love that bass sample you're using, you worked it in reaaaal nice. I was between 4-4.5 stars for a couple reasons, mainly I'm not a fan of that buildup style. You kinda saved it for me right before the drop with the syncopation, instead of just snaring faster all the way through. Very cool way to break it up into something better than the generic "speed up the snare" buildup we hear so often. Also I think it might flow better if you fade in the treble instruments as they join in, they seem a bit "punchy" to me but maybe that's the intention. Constructive criticism aside, I could totally see this being played at a rave/party and being a huge hit. Killer job with this one, keep it up!!

Thank you, glad you liked it <3

What a moving song! If that's what you were going for as you said in the comments, you freakin' nailed it! If I had to say something to constructively criticize I might've liked a bit of filter/reverb on the muted horn part from 0:48 to 1:40. The last minute and a half of this song brings to mind some profound realization feeling to me, as if I'd be making a choice that'll change everything but just coming to understand the gravity of it all... if that makes sense? Killer song stranger, well done

Thank you so much for your kind words and advice!! :)

I dig it though it's a little long to me (as you said). For the constructive criticism end of things, I felt like the transitions were a bit... choppy? Not sure if that's the right word for it, just felt like it could've flown together a bit better if that makes sense. Almost feels like three or four songs smunched together to me, instead of being one track itself. Personal criticism aside, you've really made something cool here! My favorite part was from 2:08 to 3:11, blew me away, you really know how to make a cool dubstep sound! Seriously awesome work overall, keep it up stranger.

Vaurixx responds:

Thank you! I know what you mean about the transitions, they could definitely use more polish and are pretty abrupt, I'll be addressing those as well as the length in the future. I guess I kinda jumped the gun cause I just wanted to get a version out there, haha :) This was supposed to release in about a month but I just couldn't help myself. Ill probably polish it up a little more and re-release it here along with the rest of the EP, and rename this version as a demo or something. Thanks for the feedback and compliments, have a good one!

I really like the sound of this, very well done. Feels like I'm in a fairy tale or something, curious, dreamy, and relaxed.. with a touch of sadness maybe? ..super cool! Would you mind if I sample it for a future project? If so, do you happen to know the key and bpm? Whatever I make is always free, though I'd always link to here (or wherever) to give credit where it's due :)

Of course! This is originally called "Nara's theme" but changed it, sounds a little to specific :^

Oh it exists alright, and it's freakin' weird! But soothing at the same time ya know? That transition at 1:04 kinda threw me for a loop and I wasn't too sure what to make of it, but listening again it totally works for me. I could totally see this being a shop song in a game or something, super chill. Well done stranger!

CheemMan responds:

Thanks for the response, appreciate the review! Have a good day stranger!

Super cool. I really like your buildups, and the song really has the feel that I look for in "good dubstep". I really like the breakdown bits in the second verse, 1:15, 1:22, etc.
One thing, I might've thrown a filter in there to bring those parts away and then back, to bring more " snap" feeling when the full track comes back in. But constructive criticisms aside, killer song! 5/5 for sure, Is the game released yet?

DeadbushiaYT responds:

The game is actually a roblox game, and it's been out for 3 years! This is part of a major update where you destroy your own soul to reach the "soulless" tier of weapons. The update itself is not out yet, but there are tons of goodies in the game still. You should be able to find it on my roblox profile "xBushi". Thanks for the feedback!

Really sick song, I especially like the beastyness of the guitar when it first comes in. Pretty badass lol, although everything seems a bit rough to me, do you have any limiters set to the master track like maximus? I feel that something like that would really benefit the song, and also have you tried listening to it through different speakers? Sometimes easier to hear little things that are off or slightly louder with car speakers or home speakers that are different. Helped me at least, anyway that's a sick idea for a track and the samples you used suit it. Well done!

Number7even responds:

Thanks for the feedback! I'm not exactly sure what you mean by rough though? If you could offer a more in-depth explanation of what you think isn't working I would honestly appreciate some advice on how I might fix it.

PM me if you have a chance, something that is a weakness of mine is the mastering aspect of the production. Thanks again for the review!

Great remix, did you do the piano part yourself? Really captured the energy of the original which is what I feel should be done with remixes. There are a couple things that bug me about it though, like at 00:34 it seems like everything comes in too suddenly. Have you thought of fading it in smoothly? Also I noticed the same thing about the end, a fade out would be kinda nice, seems to just drop off. Other than that I think you did really well with this, the strings are timed perfectly, and the drum line you made goes very well with it. Keep it up

djahmusic responds:

Yep everything is played & made by me, and I meant to not add fades cause I always add fades in my tracks... and decided to change that a bit here ^_^
Thank you for your comment =)

I love the way it picks up suddenly, that's siiick. What did you use for the higher synth that sounds like a string instrument in the back round in the times around 00:35? That fits there perfectly, they're timed just right and the harmonies are flawless. I particularly like the end, almost sounds like it's gonna start up again and it kinda faked me out haha. The only bad thing I have to say is from 00:06 - 00:10 what happened? I was groovin to the intro and it just dropped out for four seconds, thats the only thing keeping it from 5 stars in my eyes. Dope song other than that, keep it up man

GinSauzo responds:

thanks Bro :D
