I remember how stoked I was when you uploaded Heaven Rd2, so many years later and STILL killing it! Ever do any live stuff in Oregon? Looking forward to see what comes next, keep it up!

Really sick song, I especially like the beastyness of the guitar when it first comes in. Pretty badass lol, although everything seems a bit rough to me, do you have any limiters set to the master track like maximus? I feel that something like that would really benefit the song, and also have you tried listening to it through different speakers? Sometimes easier to hear little things that are off or slightly louder with car speakers or home speakers that are different. Helped me at least, anyway that's a sick idea for a track and the samples you used suit it. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback! I'm not exactly sure what you mean by rough though? If you could offer a more in-depth explanation of what you think isn't working I would honestly appreciate some advice on how I might fix it.
PM me if you have a chance, something that is a weakness of mine is the mastering aspect of the production. Thanks again for the review!
Great remix, did you do the piano part yourself? Really captured the energy of the original which is what I feel should be done with remixes. There are a couple things that bug me about it though, like at 00:34 it seems like everything comes in too suddenly. Have you thought of fading it in smoothly? Also I noticed the same thing about the end, a fade out would be kinda nice, seems to just drop off. Other than that I think you did really well with this, the strings are timed perfectly, and the drum line you made goes very well with it. Keep it up
Yep everything is played & made by me, and I meant to not add fades cause I always add fades in my tracks... and decided to change that a bit here ^_^
Thank you for your comment =)
I love the way you timed the kicks at the beginning, really brings up the energy perfectly to the trance like beat. From 18-21 seems like it kinda dies for a bit, have you thought of maybe adding in some sort of atmosphere in there or extending the first sound so it carries through? The build up after that really caught my attention, flawlessly going into the higher major beat, that part was perfect. Once again though after that it just drops off, I think that's the only thing I don't like about the whole song, kinda kills the flow every once in a while. Also I think it might sound better at a higher tempo, but that's just me. Hope to hear more from you, really dope song.
Thanks! I made this song back in 2012 and now, listening to it again, I completely agree with what you pointed out. Thanks again for your review! Who knows, maybe in the future I'll release an "updated" version of this song, fixing and perfectioning everything!
I really like the way you timed all of that, it's pretty flawless from what I can hear. The echo suits it very well, and its amazing how you keep a calm feel throughout with such a fast paced beat. That's really hard to do, and you fuckin' nailed it. A few things that bugged me were mainly the transitions. At 15 seconds it seems like the fiddle kinda comes in pretty rough, I think it'd be alot easier to listen to if you smoothed that out a bit. Also around 00:38 have you thought of throwing in something like a harder kick when the beat changes? It might tie it together a bit better, but that's just my opinion. All around though I love the way the song flows and particularly like the Celtic feel toward the end. Keep making more!
I guess it does kind of sound like a fiddle lol. Didn't even cross my mind. I realize now how many automation clips I had running on that thing, and then they all sort of just cut into position at the 15 second mark. Might have something to do with the stabby synth behind it as well. I'll take note.
As for adding a kick of some sort to 00:38, maaaaybe. I don't want the track to feel confined within the beat, which is why I added some free-reign toms to it. 4 on the floor may work against me on this one. But I will certainly take everything you said into consideration. Thank you very much.
Awesome song, I really love the way this flows and how much the kick and drums change to match the song, really keeps it moving nicely. I feel like good electronic music should tell a story, and you've done that perfectly. Some things I noticed, I'd really like to see you do a bit more with the higher notes that jump around starting at 1:30, I feel like when they repeat with the strings there should be something different or added to it on top of the strings maybe. Also at about 3 minutes the strings sound kinda lonely, that's where a choir or some ambient backround would be perfect in my eyes. I really like the song, has an awesome beat and kept my attention very well throughout. Keep making more!
Didn't see that you had reviewed my song. I appreciate this. Perhaps with the higher pitched notes at the 1:30 mark, I could have added a little more diversity. That could always be improved. At 3 minutes, I like to think that maybe that lonely string gives the listener the emotion of this song, loneliness with energy. I like to put emotion into all of my songs, and for most you can tell what I was feeling while making the song. Usually most song take a week or two to complete, so of course the emotion changes quite a bit, but oh well, haha. Thanks for your review.
